Anyone have any experience with vinyl flooring? Specifically Armstrong Allure. Vinyl would be best for an elderly relative w/Parkinsons.?

I have Trafficmaster Allure flooring in most of my house, the self-adhesive kind, each piece sticking to the next. Kitchen, living room, bedroom, both bathrooms. It's going into the second bedroom when I get around to it. I like it very much. Better than laminate. Quieter, warmer, less slippery, totally waterproof, easy to install, easy to clean. My kitchen is a bit scuffed after almost 6 years(mostly from large dogs) but for the price it has held up very well.

Alluer is a good choice.. Its easy to install, slip resistant and most of ll its water proof for every day living. I installed it in my girlfriends basement bedroom floor for her son..It acyually went through a flood of 2" and held up perfect.. So a bit of excess water left on it won t hurt a thing.. GL

Whatever flooring is chosen, be absolutely sure it is non-slippery. Throw rugs should also be removed for anyone who is unstable with walking.
