DJI Phantom v3?
Been thinking of buying a dji phantom but looking around the net it seems they have a few problems with the gimble coming apart and wrecking the cam and ribbon cable .
also read that some go out of control and fly away never to be found again , are they really this bad ?

DJI launched the Phantom 3 in two varieties: Professional and Advanced. The main difference between them is that the former shoots 4K; the latter, only 1080p/Full HD. The craft themselves are otherwise the same. DJI clearly thinks it's onto a winner with the Phantom's design, as the Phantom 3 is nearly identical to the Phantom 1. The LED flashes on and off in various patterns of colors, first of all letting you know that the systems are warming up, and then potentially alerting you to the facts that the Phantom’s compass can’t be calibrated, it can’t find enough GPS satellites, or it’s just too cold.
