How do you delete a question on here?

It depends on if it has any answers yet or not as to if you can delete a question and also which version of Yahoo Answers you are using.

You need to use the desktop version and have a question with zero answers and then to delete it click/hover over/on the the edit/pencil icon and you will get an option to "Delete Question" Once the first answer has been placed it is no longer possible to delete them.

It depends on whether or not the question has been answered. If it has been answered, you can't delete it. We used to be able to delete our answered questions, but this option has been removed. What you can do is go to the pencil (or Edit button depending on your format version) icon beside it and choose the "make anonymous" option so at least your username and avatar are removed from it. This is especially useful if your question is embarrassing.

If the question has no answers, go to the pencil (Edit button) icon beside your question and choose the delete option. By the way, if you're on mobile, you need to switch to desktop first. On an aside, the only other way they may be deleted is if they're reported as violations.

If you are on a mobile then click Desktop first, if not just click on the question edit/delete.

Since Yahoo changed the rules on this site the only question an Asker can delete is one that has not received any answers.

You can delete a question by using the delete "X" to the right of the edit pencil icon up to the point that there is an answer to the question.

After posting an answer, feel free to edit or delete it up until the Asker chooses a Best Answer. A question can only be deleted before it receives its first answer.

To delete your question, go to the question page, pass your mouse over the pencil icon in the toolbar below your question, and click Delete Question.
