Any suggestions for minimizing scratches on vinyl plank flooring? Color of flooring is medium oak and scratches show up white.?

Get a light brown sharpie marker and color in the scratches when they show up. Only way to keep from scratching it is to be careful what you allow to walk on it. If you've got dogs there is not much you can do.

I would check with your flooring warranty information. Felt pads are a must, in most cases. If scratches show up white, that means the wear layer was/is very thin, and you might have a case to have the floor replaced.

No dogs, but an elderly mother who uses a walker. Have read that small seeds and pebbles trapped in soles of shoes can scratch and I think this is a big factor also. Will try the pens, thank you.
