Am I an Agnostic or a Deist?

Question

I believe that there is a God, but I don't believe in the bible. I believe that there is a God out there, I just don't believe in a book written by man. I've posted this on Whisper and have gotten mixed responses. Some say I'm an Agnostic, while those defending me against those people say I'm either an Atheist or Deist. I know I'm not an Atheist as I believe there is a God, but I'm confused as to whether I'm an Deist or Agnostic. This is the first time I'm hearing about these two things.

Well Deist is when you believe in 1 god, while theist is when you believe in at least 1, or possibly more. So you sound like a deist. It's a classification of people that don't fit in to any religion, It's the belief there is enough reason to logically believe there is a god, but you trust in what you can see in nature and the world as proof of god, but don't trust in the established religions because they don't have any real evidence. Deism is not an actual religion. It's just a general description of what you believe. And there are different beliefs also within deism. Like some believe in reincarnation, some don't.

I can bear witness to saying there is a God, Jesus revealed himself to me and told me he is coming soon and his judgment will soon occur, you have been warned. Now is the time to seek him while he may still be found. Live Holy and do to others what you want done to you, pray to God until he reveals himself to you.and never give up. The Kingdom of Heaven is not for quitters.

You are a Diest  if you believe that there is a God but he doesn't interfere in humanity's affairs. You are theist if you believe there is a God and he does have an impact in humanity's affairs. An agnostic believes that it is impossible to know for sure if God is real or not.
