How to get people to believe I'm not anorexic?
So I'm 14 and 5'4. I weight 89 pounds on the dot. Some people think I'm anorexic and don't believe me when I say I'm not. The doctor even says I'm healthy, there were some complications during the pregnancy with me.. The ambilical cord wrapped around my legs 4 times so that's why they think I'm so small. Also my heart stopped beating and they had to deliver me early causing my lungs to not be ready. I was 5 weeks early so I was considered pre mature, I also weighed 4 times which was below the normalcy even for being that early. Whenever I tell people that they always say well you would have grown out of that? When in reality it's just genetics and medical issues. It's getting on my nerves and I don't know what to do, I guess there's not much I can do?

I was the same at 14 and I'm currently 20, 5'4, and weigh 90-95 pounds. For me it's also just genetics. I used to get called all kinds of names because of my size and people always told me to go eat some hamburgers.
But you know what, people bothering you like that does fade away. Just be confident and eat healthy. When people say "you're anorexic" just tell them you're not, it's genetics, but thanks for the concern. If they keep bothering you just ignore them and eventually they'll leave you alone.

There's nothing you cann do except ignore people and stay as healthy as possible. You can't please or convince everyone & you don't have to
