Jesus, that would be excellent.
Although, there's two issues.
1.) The video game is a major spoiler for those who have played it and beat it.
2.) The voice actors for Ellie and Riley are far too old to play fourteen year old characters, so the voice actors being cast in that movie wouldn't work.

Personally I hope that they will
And for the cast I hope it would be good they could get the voice actors to play the characters but the plot may be a bit sh*t given they have already made a video game

Possibly , zombie and spin off films from games are popular at this moment ,the most recent being dead rising watchtower.
