Why people so stupid?

is it something like OCD? it's got nothing to do with you but i think that person has issues. Gloves aren't that clean, either. I've seen people wear gloves and handle food and cash at the same time. If you can't stand it, just eat and home and make all the food yourself.

Some people are just stupid. That's just the way it is.

Important to remember, we each have a different perspective and each opinion is valid for the individual. It is common for people to wear protective gloves when serving food so perhaps this customer was taken aback that you were not wearing anything on your hands. Ultimately, you cannot change or control other people so you need to decide how much attention you want to give this matter.

After reading your question/rant it made me wonder who you are to judge someone on stupidity.

You cannot take it personally. The gloves may not actually affect the hygene of the food prep, but customers may think it does.

You should have no problem with someone wanting you to cover your hands and your hair when dealing with food.
