Can I ( an adult female) wear a tick collar to prevent ticks?

There are woods near our house where we walk the dog and we (both my husband and I) are getting ticks. I am home more so am the one walking the dog more, this is my second tick in like a week. The dog has had one and my husband has had one, but again this is my second. Can I wear a tick collar, like on my wrist or ankle to prevent ticks.

Have you never heard of a product called autan? Much better than a dog collar ( unless you are a Punk of course)

Tick collars dont prevent ticks, they only kill on contact. Wear old jeans and put Deet on those, plus a dab of something strong like Eucalyptus oil.

I guess you could wear a collar on each leg like garters, but really Deet would be more effective.

Those collars are rated for the size and weight of the dog. I don't think they make a collar for the weight of an adult human.

No! Just get spray like somebody who has normal intelligence instead of coming off like a complete twit.

Or you can just use deet aka bug repellent.
