what sort of jobs are retired military drone pilots ending up doing in the private sector?

    It takes 20 years to retire. We haven't had significant numbers of RPAs that long. Anyone retiring now that has experience flying an RPA was probably also a manned aircraft pilot.

    Even if they were straight up RPA operators, any retired officer should have no trouble finding a job. 20 plus years of leadership and management experience is desirable in the corporate world.

    drone pilots are regular pilots

    thy are just assigned to drones , rather than fighters or bombers
