How can a child get blue eyes light hair from a dad of Latino descent and the mother who is Caucasian but they both have browns eyes?

Seems rare their 4 year old son would inherit blue eyes and dirty blonde hair from both brown eyed parents the dad having a more darker brown towards black colored eyes but has a Spanish Castilian look. Do both probably have to carry blue eye recessive genes that match?

Our daughter whom we adopted is English, Native American, German, and Mexican. She has light brown hair, blue eyes, and is paler than my 10O% European descent self.

One of our daughters who was born to us has blonde hair and blue eyes. My husband and I both have brown hair and brown eyes.

    So yes, it's entirely possible.

Brown eyed people can carry genes for blue eyes. It is pretty simple. I have brown eyes and two blue-eyed children. Hair coloring is similar. There is more than one gene for each, and you can carry genes for lighter colors than what is expressed in your own coloring. Hair color often changes with time too. Kids who have very light blond hair as small children can grow up to have dark blond or brown hair.

Eye and hair color can come from anywhere. Grandparents - great grand parents. I mean, there are real story's of couples having one black and one Caucasian twin. So... you would really have to know the family's roots to know where it came from.
