Should i start saving at age 21?

Hello. I'm 21 years old college student. I have a part time job for 4 years now since i was 17. I work alot and used em all on bullshit, i mean not bullshit but food,car,gas, this and that you know. So give me an advice. Should i start saving help my parent out a lil bit or i dont know. I feel my life is limited not able to do what i want. GIVE ME AN ADVICE PEOPLE

    You are a college student so in a few years you won't be in school and you should be making better money. If you can save money now they YES, save up,. if you can also help your parent then do that too, bring home a bag of groceries now and then, you can spend 25.00 and get some fruit, veggies, a rotisserie chicken, but open a savings account and work towards a first goal of say 500.00 then go for 1000,keep setting goals.

    You start saving the minute you start earning. 10-15% of your earnings. You will be grateful later.

    As soon as you have substantial discretionary income. The earlier, the better.
