This is something that people who have not read the comics often miss. Cap's shield is not vibranium. Its made of an alloy that has vibranium in it, as well as adamantium, and is stronger than both. It is unique and has not been replicated.

That said, Wakanda has the technology to work with vibranium.

In the comics continutiy, extremely higher powered lasers can cut vibranium.

I don't think you can forge vibranium. I may be wrong but Wakanda has the technology to alter the organization of the atoms to form the shape of vibranium products. btw, its not indestructable but can absorb high amounts of shock. SO if you apply a constant ever increasing pressure on Cap's shield you can break it.

Since this a material that only appears in comics then the writer can use whatever method is necessary to mine or form it.

If it were me, I would use a final heat treatment to give it its indestructible qualities. That way you could work with it until you were finished and then heat treat it to be indestructible.
