Should we let Trump make a gold-plated statue of himself somewhere in the capital?

Admit it, even if you hate him, you would love to have a landmark of a man that, like the statue, is all glitz and glamour on the outside, but air and cheap building materials on the inside.

It could be a continuous reminder of who actually owns Washington.

A 15 foot tall gold statue of Trump next to the Lincoln Memorial statue would be a good place to place it. I actually think Trump would pay for the statue himself were it to be placed right next to the Lincoln Memorial. I can see it now with people taking out their pocket knives and cutting off pieces of gold from the statue and selling it in exchange for drugs in Washington, DC.

Every building he owns is a landmark in its own right. Those beautiful things that stand tall and proud in each city, it's a shame people are boycotting them

But yeah a gold played statue would be nice too, maybe in the middle of trump DC

One more example of the liberals headlong rush to commit political suicide.

Because he's president, Trump will get an official portrait that will hang either in the White House or the National Portrait Gallery of the Smithsonian. He'll get a library named after him to house all his papers, which will be paid for by voluntary contributions of his fans. And after he dies he will also get his face on a postage stamp, like all presidents do.

It's just like him to want a gold-plated statue 'permanently' installed somewhere in the White House (I say 'permanent' because it might be fastened into the floor but it'll be ripped out by the next president.) If Trump runs true to form, the statue will be paid for by his charitable foundation.

Trump can do whatever he wants, I don't care. Just saying it's not on me when it gets vandalized just like one of his golf courses sometime ago.
