Song I wrote awhile back. When my family kept stabbing me in the back. Can you read anything else this song tells you in the Lyrics?
Song Title: I Can't Control This Sickness
Band Name: Drunken Skulls
Lyrics:
In this depression, it's deeper and it knows
I can't control. It is making me insane.
As it grows in my mind like mold.
It keeps me just sick enough to stay home.
Thoughts of suicide. Curtains cover closed blinds.
Build a wall of hate and humiliate that will never come down.
Let the words colonize just like you've said before.
There will be no blood this time.
In death, I'll haunt you. Till you're scared.
I've been followed by a soul marked with pain.
Never came close once to being on the side of my name.
Every day hate grows taller, within all your black hearts,
and through my soul, you couldn't reach in and pull me apart.
It gets worse when they look into my eyes.
They can't see through all the pain in their blackened veins
and evil sounds resonate all-around,
like a demon march through me, this battle,
there's just not much left, only silence let me rest.
In this world, I'm weak and it knows
I can't control, I can't sleep.
Terrified by my own family and their lies.
So, I'll wait here and pray.
These demons will stop acting like angels.
And let do let my truly tired mind sleep.
It still grows in my mind like mold.
It keeps me just sick enough to stay home, all alone.

Cliché edgy lyrics that seem like they were written by a 14 year old kid after he had just gotten grounded by his parents. There is nothing clever or interesting here, nothing that grabs anyone's attention. Its all 'blackness, darkness, demons, death, etc' all without any clever poetry going on. Every line in here is almost painfully straightforward and simple and the few that aren't are again super Cliché and have already been used countless times before.
