Can whatsapp call landlines?

    No.  But you can call someone on a landline.

    I am learning too and will be investigating further. But i found this Wiki story interesting. Says, "Facebook bought it in 2014 for 19,300,000,000.00" -- Wwhhaaats-up! APP??

    The story also says in 2017 it became more all inclusive. ( I have never used it.)

    Why do people like it?

    No. Its for WhatsApp to WhatsApp calls.

    Yes, but it does so over the phone network, so you would call using your mobile phone connection (ie it uses your mobile allowance).
