I downloaded an app, how do I see it?

It is not on my list of apps, it is not listed in the application manager.

    I installed from the Play Store, it says it IS installed. I cannot re-install it. I cannot delete it. I cannot find it.

    If you "installed" it from the play store and it hasn't appeared then the install failed.

    If you downloaded it from elsewhere look for it in your downloads folder, long press on it, and select install. You may have to alter your security settings to allow it to install.
