I can not activate my windows 10 Pro because I do not have product key, can I get it for free?

    Strangely, my computer wanted to be "activated" after a couple of years of running okay, and reported that I was running the wrong version. The computer would not activate yesterday - I did find the Windows sticker, but it would not accept the Product ID from it - I tried the activation later and that activated - It think this is another Microsoft Bug - There isn't a lot of reasons to love MS!

    No you can’t, but if you were using windows 7, 8 or 8.1 before, windows 10 works with product keys from them.

    It is not free, unless you paid for it. Then contact the seller or Microsoft directly.

    UPDATE: If Windows 10 was embedded with your computer, do the following

    Right click My Computer

    Click properties

    Scroll down to the bottom for Windows Activation Key
