I am planning a 9 day road trip from Los Angeles, CA to Denver Colorado. I have no idea what to do out there. Any suggestions?

Update:

Also, what places I can stop by before Denver. I don't want to stay all 9 days there. Maybe just 3

Thank you!

Depending on your route - you certainly can't do all of them- Death Valley, Grand Canyon, Vegas, Yosemite, Utah - Great Salt Lake and all that. Grand Mesa, Meteor Crater, Monument Valley. And points in between.

Get out of LA as soon as you can. Drive up CA1 along the coastline, absolutely gorgeous. Stopover in Monterey and go to Cannery Row; check out the Monterey Aquarium.

Continue up CA1 to connect with Hwy17 and go over the Santa Cruz Mountains and connect with Hwy101 to drive into San Francisco. Spend two nights there; there are so many things to see and do there, that you'll have to look them up.

Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and head to Napa and wine country. Spend a night there. Tour some of the famous wineries. Have an elegant dinner at the Chandon Winery.

From there you'll have to ask someone else how to get to Denver CO. That's beyond my personal experience.

I would stop by the Grand Canyon, all the picture I see from there are amazing! And make sure to stop in Vegas as well!
