Any tips for going to Cancun, Mexico? Also, I've never been, so I'm looking for some fun activities?

Everything is on the beach and at the resorts. There's not much in the town of Cancun. You can take a day trip to see the ruins at Chichen Itza. Your hotel will have an activities desk where you can see the options. But most people just hand on the beach and at the pool and do water sports.

We have been Vacationing in the Cancun area each year for several years now. You will find many exciting things to do and see. If your staying at a resort hotel, it's advisable to book excursions and tours from the tour desks at the resort than to book on line. Here's one of the tour companies web sites to give you an idea of what is available. There are new adventures popping up every year, and I'm sure the tour desks will fill you in on these. https://www.viator.com/en-CA/Riviera-Maya-and-the-... Cancun itself has night clubs and restaurants but advise you not to check these out late at night unless with a group of people you are traveling with. Playa del Carmen has an interesting tourist area, and the locals also visit. It's 5th ave, which has several blocks of stores of all types, restaurants, clubs, and bars. A short walk from there down the beach is a ferry that goes across to Cozumel. Makes a nice day trip. All the excursion information can be found at your hotel.
