Icelandair flies to Glasgow via Keflavik. Check their website for fares.

Is that Boston, Lincolnshire, England, or Boston on the east coast of the USA?

ALL of the over the ocean airlines are safe. Best price is by low cost Airline.

you can look them up yourself.

A travel Agent can help you. It is how they make their living.

Obviously if you travel at low season it is a little cheaper than peak holiday times. A low of about $500 return not too hard to find. For budgeting purposes plan for $6-700 for a return ticket.

I am not going to check every flight everyday for the next year for you.

You should consider also flights going to Edinburgh just an hour away by train.

Any commercial airline is the safest place you can be- safer than your own home. Prices vary a great deal depending on the time of year and the time of day. Go to a site like orbitz.com or expeida.com, and do a search for flexible dates to see the lowest prices.

Who could judge safest? Go on Travelocity or similar and see who flies. Pick the lowest cost.
