Is it bad to change my major after being accepted into a college but before enrolling?
I've been accepted to College A in Major A. However, I want to change to Major B.
I haven't committed to College A but would like to prepare the correct major in the event that I do.... Is it bad to change your major before enrolling?

You will meet with a college adviser to sign up for your first semester classes. Chances are your first semester classes will be basic core subject for any major you pick. You may want to think about it,. 50% of all students change their major at least once. But you are changing plans quickly. Talk it over with your adviser.

No it is not BAD. It would be BAD if you took classes you weren't really interested in.

NO. You NEVER OFFICIALLY declared a major. Many colleges do NOT ALLOW you to officially DECLARE major u til the middle of your 4th semester. You did NOT make a legally binding commitment to a specific major when you applied for admission. You CAM change your major MULTIPLE times AFTER officially declaring a major. YOU are responsible for finding an academic adviser who is willing to advise you when you OFFICIALLY declare a major.

It is still acceptable.
Lots of students change majors after their first year of studies in college.
