Is swinging on a swing a good exercise, or does it do nothing for you?

    I would imagine that it would exercise your legs a little bit if you had some weights on your legs, but other than that, I don't think swinging does anything for you. Swinging makes me sick after a while, so I wouldn't want to have weights on my legs, get sick, and sweating. It sounds like a bad work out to me if you are planning on making it a work out. I would rather go on a treadmill or an elliptical thing with the pedals that goes around (whatever they are called).

    it is a fun and a good exercise.. but it is not an efficient exercise if you are trying to lose weight, gain/build muscle mass and trying to remain fit.. an hour of swimming and jogging could worth hours of 'swinging'..

    it is not nothing, but a less of something..
