All Inclusive Mexico trip. Daily alcohol intake advice?

It's not worth ruining your vacation sitting around the resort drinking all day. We vacation in the Mayan Riviera each year, staying in upper end resorts for a few weeks. We find it rather humorous watching people trying to drink the bars dry, knowing the next day is not going to be much fun for them. There are many interesting things that people miss out on by hanging around the resort for their vacation. Check out the excursions and tours offered at the excursion desk of the resort. I like to drink also, but I like good food also, probably more than booze. There are many real Mexican restaurants outside of the resorts that have excellent food.

If your going to get tanked up, just remember to stay hydrated, which you will probably forget. Use plenty of sunblock, which you will probably forget, and burn badly. Use insect repellent, which you will probably forget and get eaten alive by mosquitoes and sand flees. Stay away from the ocean. Many people drown due to too much alcohol consumption. Stay away from balconies. They are not built to the same code required in the US, or Canada, and many people have fallen over the rails.

I hope you have a great vacation, there is no need to spend it intoxicated to have fun.

Your hang over will be way less if you drink a lot of bottled water. It does work.

Try to remember some of the vacation.

Don't be late for the home bound extraction.

Poisoning your body for the sake of getting your "money's worth" is pretty stupid. You could easily end up in the hospital, which will cost you a whole lot more than you would have paid for the alcohol. Or you could end up in jail.

Tequila and women?

The Mexican resorts have on more than one occasion poisoned patrons with alcohol for the purpose of....? well robbery perhaps, but going to Mexico to get drunk is a very stupid idea.
