Why do religions keep trying to get others to believe their religion?

Divinely revealed truth has a certain, distinctive "ring" to it. Don't you think?

I agree there is no point in trying to force people into changing their mind.

That is not a fruitful approach for Christians to take.

However, you seem to be suggesting that we need to be completely silent on the matter of God and salvation.

Which, oddly enough, is you trying to get us to believe what you do.

That’s kind of like the statement: “You shouldn’t judge people.”... But, by saying that, you are judging me.

If you knew of something really wonderful, and you really believed it, wouldn't you want others to know about it as well?

Christ nor Christians never "force" themselves. If Christianty doesnt appeal to you then just walk away in peace.
