I have a feeling this might be a troll, but I'll answer you honestly. I would like to point out that a "Chorkie" is not a purebred dog. If you don't believe me, look it up on the American Kennel Club website. It's very common for puppies to bite, especially if they are teething. Don't resort to anything like a shock collar, as those are just cruel. I would recommend checking out this article: https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/training/how-pre...

First of all you have mutt/mixed breed - its NOT a purebred dog in any sense of the word. Second, you probably took the puppy home too early before the mother and siblings taught the puppy not to be biting. Look up on YouTube videos about correcting biting problems in puppies.

Um how is a chorkie - which is a backyard breeder MUTT mix of Chihuahua and Yorkie "purebred"? You're delusional as #@$%!!!

It was probably sold to you WAY to young and likely kept in a cage with ZERO human interaction. You got EXACTLY what you paid for. Shame on you supporting the breeding of mutts for money.

Well first,it depends on why he’s biting. Aggression or playfulness? If aggression, I would use a muzzle or mouth restricting harness when he bites. After he bites, make a whimper sound like he hurt you and make yourself big, to show your dominance. Immediately slap their nose or tell them no. If it’s too severe put a muzzle on them for a short period of time or hire a trainer. If you don’t want to physically punish them, you could restrict them, like putting him in his cage. When I trained my moms pup I would also would hold her mouth shut (watch for the tongue) and tell her no.

My dog use to bite when she played rough, so I would use a nontoxic, non-dangerous but gross smelling and tasting thing on my hands. She hates garlic,so I would rub a bit of garlic paste in my hands before playing. Gross, I know, but very effective. Whimpering here’s would also help, most pups don’t notice when they start playing too rough, but they don’t mean your any harm so they’ll feel bad if you get hurt

Get some of the stuff you put on kid's thumbs so they stop sucking their thumb. Put that on your hands and then let the dog bit you. He will learn you taste bad. Or just slap the crap out of him if he bites.

Puppies bite. They are still learning. What's important is teaching them "bite inhibition" which just takes consistency. Here's an article about it:

I highly recommend including clicker training.

I am so sorry but I had a good laugh reading your question.

Pure bred chorkie puppy.....that is my laugh. A Chorkie is a X breed, a mutt, not pure at all. It has mixed up & twisted genetics like any other mutt.

All puppy's bite. Every single one of them do. Guaranteed. It is up to the owner to teach their pup not to bite. You can google, 'stop puppy biting' & learn ways to correct the pup for biting. If not stopped as a pup, just think of how bad it could be as an adult dog. 'stop puppy biting'.
