If more and more mainstream science is coming to the conclusion that the pyramids were electricity generators why was this considered fringe?

People were called lunatics and idiots for such ideas, not long ago.

And by not long ago you mean this morning when you told the idea to your mom when she brought your breakfast downstairs. Is it fun to eat Jello when your dinner table is on spin cycle?

There is not a shred of credible evidence to support your claim, you need stop visiting sites created by idiots and morons.

What the heck is "mainstream" science anyway? What is that supposed to mean? Science is simply "show me if you think your idea is true".

The idea is considered "fringe" because it is "fringe", it comes from a unique and unexpected interpretation, which is by definition "fringe" (from the edges). Most of what you call "mainstream" science was "fringe" at some point, but became accepted because the evidence was pretty compelling.

The idea is judged on its merits. Does it work or is it purely speculative? Speculation is all fine and good and really is a basic part of our investigations of how reality functions, and really is needed, but once you speculate, then you have to demonstrate. More and more will accept the idea if it is well supported by evidence.

It isn't a popularity contest like some high school social game. If you want me to accept, then you have to convince. Words will not suffice. I want a demonstration that your idea is 1) possible, and 2) what actually happened.

Your totally WRONG. No one in Mainstream Science as you call it has any doubts at all how the pyramids were built.

Because it is fringe, totally rejected by Egyptologists as well as scientists.

Electricity generators, lol! Not bad for a big pile of stones.

Those pop-science articles you read are part of the "fake news" tsunami that is sweeping the world.

You can hold a measuring instrument near any object and read an electric field, nothing unusual about that there are signals from TV, radio and dozens of other things zapping thru your body every second, a large structure may have some effect on these signals but it does not generate them.
