Why are the Carolinas getting snow with global warming?

I thought global warming was warming up the planet.

Because the Sun is transitioning into an inactive cycle called a Solar Grand Minimum that is going to cool the Earth for the next 30 or so years.

Crop failures due to late and early frosts worldwide, increased cloud cover because of increased Galactic Cosmic ray flux causing wet weather and flooding in the mid latitudes worldwide. Natural orbital variances (Earth's tilt at 22%) causing hot summers, cold winters.

These are the factors driving Earth's Climate, Humans have no control.

It’s always interesting watching deniers try to spin a one day small snow storm in one very small region of the U.S. into some sort of ‘end of AGW’ while they ignore global data for the first 4 months of the year.

Running (so far) as the 3rd warmest year, which I doubt a few snowflakes in the Carolina’s will affect much.

Just checked the weather report in the Carolina's, its 32c and scorching sunshine, perhaps your in the Arctic.

Is anybody attending the summer blockbuster movie, "Dirac's Van?"

    I found this trailer:

Zoophile Draven Dirac is back as quintessential evil character. This time, Dirac trades in his beastiality urges to pursue prey in schoolyards. Dirac's new ride is a hopeless scrap heap in attempting to elude the law, but this time our villain gets some unexpected help--the Devil himself.

What snow are the Carolinas getting? I admit I don't pay that much attention to weather there, but I just looked at the June data for Raleigh, Piedmont, Fayetteville, Charlotte and Charleston and for the most part it looks like it has been quite warm there. There were a few days with lows in the 50s, but the daytime highs still reached the 80s.

There was a news story about a solitary patch of snow that was left at a ski resort, but big deal. We have glaciers in California that aren't far from the hottest place on Earth, Death Valley.

Even if there was an unusual local weather event, unless you do an attribution study then that's pretty much all it is, a unusual local weather event.

Snow? In mid-June? The last weather report from the Research Triangle I heard this morning had the temperature in the high 80s. You want snow in the Carolinas? You have to wait for winter.

Climate is not the same as weather.

Global warming is behind the extremes in weather, both cold and heat.

Enjoy it while you can. The humidity and heat are certainly on their way. I'm getting a little tired of our cold California weather too. I like it cool, but I like to photograph birds and wildlife and the June gloom really makes it challenging and it was drizzling on me this morning. It is all weather but it is also a good demonstration that our CO2 really hasn't done that much. It had to have been the coldest California winter and spring that I remember in 30 years. Sometimes it goes like that and certain weather patterns set in for a long time.
