Can birds ever be used as the power source for a flying machine?

    Yes. It has been done before.

    If u strap a gopro camera on one you technically got a flying machine powered by bird.

    No one said it has to be heavy.

    If sufficient numbers were ground up and heated so that the fats could be pressed out of them and turned into synthetic fuel the answer is probably yes.
