Is anyone else shocked how the worst QB in the preseason this year Easton Stick made the roster instead of Cardale Jones?
The Chargers drafted Easton Stick in the 5th round this year. Easton stick then has rewarded them with the worst preseason performance by a QB in Chargers history.
Stick has completed 58.7 percent of his passes this preseason with one touchdown and four interceptions for an embarrassing QB rating of 44.1.
Cardale Jones his competition for the 3rd string spot had a Tom Brady like 68.3 completion percentage for 1 touchdown and 0 interceptions for a QB rating of 103.4. He also has rushed for 39 yards and a rushing touchdown
Easton Stick played at North Dakota because he couldn't get any other offers and after seeing him this preseason everything is starting to make sense.

My apologies Cardale Jones had 2 touchdown passes not 1 for a QB rating of 112. How is this guy not getting the respect he deserves?

Actually, it could have been worse. The worst quarterback in the preseason this year was Clayton Thorson, the pick after Easton Stick.

Easton Stick was a record breaking quarterback at North Dakota State (Not North Dakota). He has all the tools Cardale Jones played three years ago, and not since. He had one career game with 5 of 9 passing and one interception for a quarterback rating of 13.9. IF Jones really had NFL pro tools, he would have played or been on somebody's roster, at least as a third string QB during the last two seasons, This is not a travesty Jones got cut.
As third string QB, Stick will have plenty of time to learn the position. As to Jones, I predict he's out of football permanently. Nobody will pick him up.

Cardale Jones has had 4 preseason to prove his worth he failed to do so
Compared to most 3rd day draft picks Sticks first preseason was not too bad, sure better then Jones first one

Unlikely. Most don't care about who the 3rd string QB on the Chargers is going to be. The only person really following the backup QB battles is Oliver Luck.
