Where does the fire department stand on CBD? ?

Do US fire departments disqualify candidates with a history of CBD use? I’m talking strictly CBD isolate with no/extremely limited THC that comes in oils or gummies. It is important the understand the difference here between marijuana and CBD

Nearly EVERY, American employer, administers Drug Tests.  Even, if you live in a state where Marijuana is legal.............you can still get fired for having drugs in your system.

If they KNOW, then they do not want you. They need HEALTHY CLEAR THINKING YOUNG MEN that can RELY on each other. Sorry but CBD and THC are linked together so they don't want you. Rules are Rules. No alcoholics or drunks either. I am not looking up what CBD is but I do know what THC is, so they just won't chance their lives relying on you.

It's not clear.  Pure CBD won't show up on a THC test BUT it's not clear how much THC is in over the counter products.  If the fire department tests for THC and you come up positive, you can kiss the job goodbye.

I can only answer for my old department. You would not be able to become a Firefighter, EMT or Paramedic, period.

CBD is not going to show up on your drug test to start with drug test test for THC CBD is no way or shape or form going to be detected on a drug test they don't test for it it's not any illegal drug it's not a year before I could drug it doesn't cause impairment. the fire department and the police aren't going to care less about a drug that doesn't show up on the drug test so don't say anything about your CBD use and there won't be a problem
