Why are so many people choosing to make their question or answers "Anonymous"?

Are you ashamed of your opinions?

The reason for the anonymous was to protect those who asked embarrassing type questions.  But like everything else on this site many were using it as a tool to troll here.  Since there is only self-monitoring of this site the trolls feel they can get away with it most of the time because they could not be blocked and must be removed by many users to have their post dropped.  You need to judge the user by their post and not by the anonymous feature.

Some people dont want other people to see it was them that Asked or Answered the Question

A lot of people Abuse the Anonymous Feature to Hide them Self's to Try and get away with Trolling

because the site is mostly nothing but  point gamers now, still trying to pump up their points.

There are users here, who every single best answer they get, is always from "Anonymous".

You don't need to be a genius to figure out who the other "anonymous"  person is.........their other sock puppet.

especially when their answers are WRONG.

there's also someone here, targeting my answers, and falsely reporting them............again, so  obviously someone working multiple sock puppets.

Ya gotta have the reporting power to play that game, and take  down stuff at will, .....and that takes multiple accounts.

so they can post asinine crap without their regular avatar being associated with it

since their regular avatars are usually anonymous too, they're basically protecting their "virtual reputations"

There’s a lot of reasons people do that and being ashamed might just be one of those reasons, I never go anonymous, you got to own what you say and do.
