Hows the best way to ask if someones hiring?

Companies like to employ people who fit in and they take notice of people who are above the normal.

Mailing them is boring and will likely be in the bin in 3 seconds without getting past the first line.

Turning up and asking the first person on the desk is ok - simple.

Finding out who owns the company and meeting them in their favourite coffee shop, and starting a conversation that later leads on to making fiends lands you a job - whether they are hiring or not.

Bosses tend to struggle on for a bit before they realise they need more people, so if you can learn to recognise when a business is struggling you can walk into any job - without them even advertising the post.

 For example you are waiting in  a restaurant for 10 minutes before you see a waitress - and they are rushed off their feet. - So you ask to see the manager and explain you have waited, and some people have actually left before an order was taken - you say you have the training, can start immediately till 4pm or start tomorrow for a probationary period and if it works will negotiate a wage from it - SOLD - You get the job!

or your resume, depending on what kinda job you're looking for.....and don't be all dressed up, but look presentable in street clothes.....
