The fact of the matter, it is okay to pray to God, the Lord Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior only, but not Mary, because Mary is not God or in the godhead bodily.

COMON QUESTIONS ABOUT PRAYER: To whom should we pray? Jesus taught his followers yo pray to "our father in the heavens." (Matthew 6:9) He also said:" Iam the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6) So we should pray only to Jehovah through Jesus. What dose praying through Jesus mean? For Jehovah to accept our prayers, we need to show respect for the special assignment Jehovah gave to Jesus. As we learned, Jesus came to earth to save us from sin and death. (John 3:16; Romans 5:12)Jehovah has also appointed Jesus as High Priest and Judge.- John 5:22; Hebrews 6:20.

Mary is not God. The Holy Spirit does embody the feminine aspect of God though.

We can pray to Jesus directly, since He is God. We can pray to Mary and other saints to ask them to intercede (pray) for us.

when we pray we pray in the name of Jesus Christ your Son. we do not pray to Mary. Jehovah hears our prayers all the time. Jehovah is Jesus Christ Father and anyone who says that Jehovah is not God's name, then they should read psalms 83 verse 18. Jesus is not Jehovah and Jehovah is not a made up name. even Jesus Christ when he was on earth, prayed to his Father Jehovah in heaven and said he can not do anything without the Father. when Jesus was on the stake, he said Father forgive them. if Jesus was God, why would he pray to himself. their is no trinity. it is not God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit. Jehovah does not have a mother, Mary is Jesus Christ who is the Son of Jehovah, mother. yes I am a JW  since 1990 some people pray to Mary, but Mary is not to be prayed too. she does not hear our prays and if you say she does, then that is a lie

Of course you can pray to God the Son, the only Mediator between the Father and us.  Jesus also taught us that we can pray to Mary -- meaning "request her intercession" -- when he performed his first miracle, changing water in to wine at the wedding at Cana, because his mother asked him to help the hosts.
