Weird(ish) question: does CiCi's pizza taste better in Chicago compared to CiCi's in any other city?

I believe it's Chicago that has the best pizza. Not sure. Anyway, I think CiCi's tastes a lot better than any other place I've ever been to. And I was once told by someone that Chicago has the best the pizza. So, put delicious Chicago pizza along with delicious Chicago pizza together....

But CiCi's is a national chain. So, maybe it tastes the same everywhere. Why should Chicago be any different? And, if it were better, then CiCi's could just use those ingredients to make their pizza better.

Update:

Delicious Chicago pizza and delicious CiCi's pizza* sorry

All the stores in the Cici chain use the same recipies.

Chain pizza is nothing like authentic Chicago deep dish pizza. Some years ago, we started seeing the TV ads for CiCi's and it sounded good, but our town didn't have one. Couple years went by and finally one opened up. We were disappointed the first time. Most of the offerings were so-so; the better ones went fast and the wait time for more to be put on the buffet was unacceptable. It was not any better the second try we gave it so we never went back. And a lot of people must have agreed with us because the place was only open for maybe two years. Long gone.

On the off chance that you go to a spot that way ...a chain..the nourishment is going to taste essentially the equivalent regardless of where you are. Individuals anticipate that the nourishment should taste a similar when to go to a Franchise.

OK anticipate that the burger at McDonald's should taste contrastingly in the West than the East?

If you go to a place like that ...a chain..the food is going to taste pretty much the same no matter where you are. People expect the food to taste the same when to go to a Franchise.

Would you expect the burger at McDonald's to taste differently in the West than the East?

I have visited a CiCi in suburban Niles, and I noticed that all of their supplies have the CiCi name on them, so I doubt that the taste should vary - although it is possible that the one you visit uses slightly more cheese or toppings than the others.

it's possible i've seen a Subway Restaurant that for some reason didn't source their Ingredients from the same location as the rest of them. but that kind of thing is unusual. i'd guess you're more or less remembering it better in Chicago (Rose Tinted Glasses) or you just went to CiCi's elsewhere on a coincidentally bad day when the Pizza was cold (a staff issue, not an ingredient one).

i've also heard of restaurants like McDonalds having their flagship stores serve better quality or different foods since it's their most important location. likewise these flagship stores often have slightly higher standards for employees which results in a higher quality or at least more customer service oriented staff.
