Do you think it's too early for schools etc to reopen?

So I live in the uk and our prime minister Boris Johnson recently said that schools will start opening on 1st June and other non-essential shops will start reopening on June 15th. I reckon this is far too early and the death rate will skyrocket. What do you guys think?

Update:

I don't even care how long it takes, whether it's another year, a few more months or even just a few more weeks (fat chance I know, but you get the point), it'll be worth the wait until it's all safe for us to go out and enjoy ourselves again without any worry of being infected. Young children will never be able to grasp the concept of keeping 2 metres apart, let alone anything else.

Re opening at all is stupid let alone schools. You cannot social distance the way the government demand A N Y W H E R E. The whole things is full of lies and a ******* disaster from the get go. Schools should not be reopening to any year groups until October 2020 at the earliest resuming Year 10 starting GCSE's and Year 5's. That's how it should have been. Instead, schools are going back, where June is an absolute piss up for schools as it is anyway, they want kids to mix, they think young children ages 4-12 will have an understanding to not roll over each other -- never mind keep 2 metres a way for each other. The government should be answering for their hypocrisy, lies, and public deception. But because they're the people in control of this world, there is zero hope to recover this situation for the next decade at a very minimum.

It depends on how the schools manage it, and how many pupils actually go back to school. Keyworker children have been at school throughout.

What no one is mentioning is that schools never closed for essential workers children.

There has not been a huge outburst of this Virus in any schools in the UK.

Yes the kids do need to go back in stages, and yes the shops do need to open. we are heading for the biggest recession in history, people are now getting used to social distancing, if the the supermarkets can control people, so can the shops.
