I can't tell you why, but I can tell you that I haven't had notifications working properly for months. They come and go throughout the day. I have them about 25% of the time and 75% of the time I get the "Oops" message.

It is a glitch that has been on here for some time.

Refresh the page. 99% of the time that clears it up for me, although sometimes it takes 2 or 3 'refreshes' (I just now tried it, and I DID have to refresh 1 time to get Notifications to show up).

Its working fine for me there seems to be a Bug that's only Happening on some Accounts if yours is not working until Yahoo Fixes it you wont be able to see your Notifications Unfortunately

I am not able to receive notifications and when I try I get the same 'oops' message. I have come to the conclusion that I was not meant to see notifications and now I do not bother. Some people on the site are able to receive them so it is a hit and miss facility.
I have seen several questions/answers about the same thing and some users advise going into your profile and making some changes. I have tried them all and notifications still do not work for me, so as I said I do not bother.

It seems to be a problem that only anonymous posters have since that's the only people that keep posting this over and over.

The notifications have not been working for weeks and weeks now.
