Best thing ever for NHL that they will have an All-Canadian league for this NHL season?

Won't happen because seasons ticket holders want to see every team in the league during the season. 

Just when the NHL got the divisions right and based on time zones, covid hits.  We are back to games in the East before the west is home from work, and games in the West after the East goes to bed.  That is the first of a long list of problems with this.

It's an interes6ting expirement which resolves some issues around travel during the pandemic. Rather it should remain depends on how it works out this season.

The travel bans by B.C and other governments in Canada on NHL teams would be incredibly hypocritical because air travel into the provinces was never banned from inside or outside the province or internationally .

You can go to a website and see flights alongside the positive covid numbers for dozens of flights.

Trudeau talked about a travel ban but as usual, lied .

Aside from the travel (which is going to be far worse than the other 3 divisions) and the issue of BC's government (as of today) not wanting teams to be able to travel into the province, which could mean they end up playing in Saskatchewan.  They'll get 4 teams in the playoffs which means 3 teams will miss.  Figuring that TOR/EDM/VAN are highly likely and OTT in rebuild mode, that leaves WPG/MTL/CGY fighting for that 4th spot.
