What happens to Satan the Devil? —Does Satan the Devil Torment People Forever in Hell?

Quick Answer: Satan the Devil is destroyed forever.

1. What happens to Satan the Devil?

Revelation 20:2-3: Satan the Devil is locked up in the abyss at the beginning of the 1000-year Reign of Christ, just after Armageddon.

Revelation 20:7: Satan the Devil is released from the abyss at the end of the 1000-year Reign of Christ.

—Then, Revelation 20:10 says “the Devil was hurled into the Lake of Fire and Sulfur” where he will be “tormented day and night, forever and ever.”

Note: The Devil doesn’t torment anybody; he’s been locked up for the past 1000 years from 20:3-7. He is now tormented forever.

Note: “Tormented” means “locked up” in prison.

Note: At the end of part 2, below, where Hell is discussed, I’ll show that the Devil is destroyed forever in the Lake of Fire.

Note: The churches lied to everyone for hundreds of years with scare tactics to get donations. That’s why people are leaving the mainstream churches and looking for a church that teaches the truth.

Satan is bound during the 1000 years of the reign of Christ because of the righteousness of the people. Satan has no power if no one follows him. Towards the end of the 1000 years, people will again begin to commit sins and Satan will be loosed because people will listen to him. Then the end will come.

Hell is a temporary condition where the rebellious suffer great sorrow for sin. Most people will grasp onto the atonement and receive a level of salvation. A few ever hateful and unrepentant souls will be cast out of God's presence along with like minded people (i.e. Satan). In the end, hell is forever gone because no one will be left there. It is destroyed by the power of Christ's atonement.

Earth will become the abode of the righteous.

No. Once consigned to hell for eternity, only God has a memory of the condemned. For everyone else, it's as though the condemned had never existed. Oblivion. Not Annihilation.

More meaningless religious bullshit.  None of the characters from the Bible are real, none at all.  You lot are insane.
