REAL SOCIEDAD VS MAN UTD - Can we just forfeit this game?

I honestly do not give a shįt about the Europa League. It’s just a glorified friendly. We should just throw this match and just focus on staying in the top 4 and try and win the FA Cup. Would have been nice if we were still in the title race but we bottled it against Sheffield Utd.

its silverware and its another trophy in the cabinet, i rate it higher than the league cup and depending on your circumstances - it can be better than winning the FA Cup, though I rate the two as equally good competitions to win.

End of the day, its a competition in which you qualified for and can win if you want to win it, or should I say if you're 'good enough' to win it.

You won it under Mourinho which was quite an accomplishment I might add.

i count our uefa cups ( europa league)  alongside our european cups (champions league) when counting total trophies won in europe.

    thats cos im oldschool  ^_^

Lol, I think last time you posted a question about something like this, we ended up winning the competition, so hopefully, this is a good sign.

That being said, I'd like to respectfully disagree, because we need to learn how to balance out Europe with the PL and hopefully if we're in the CL next year, we have a bit of an advantage, having not to play on Thursdays, even though the quality of the opposition will likely be higher.

If anything, I'd rather forget the domestic cup competitions and focus on the big two, with one being the EL in our case unfortunately.

This is harsh on our EL opponents too, imagine playing a two legged tie and your 'home' game is being held at a neutral venue whilst your opponents still get their home game, I'd rather it be a one-off tie, more fair and saves us a match, depending on the result.

Will still be a more exciting game than every City match this season combined.

Can't believe i am reading this. You have an opportunity to progress and you just slag off your team. What did Fergy say "Don't support us only when we are winning" or similar. You are 2nd in the Premiership, in europe and an opportunity to do England prowd like Liverpool did.

Imagine being in the top 0.000000000000000000000000001% of fans who can say they don't want their team to win a particular trophy

Most fans don't have that kind of privilege
