Why should Americans care about the British Royal Family?

They don't have much history of their own, so they latch onto culture from other countries. 

With a President like Biden the USA needs as many friends as possible look what he did to the southern borders out of pure hatred for Trump !

I don't. They have no use. They have no power and are just a drain on their own society. They are, by far, the Most expensive PR firm on the planet.

I don't believe most Americans do care.  I believe the media uses "news" about the royals, and several other irrelevant issues, to distract readers and viewers from what is happening here in this country.  How many American taxpayers, for instance, have the time to keep up with the royals, the karcrashians (America's "royals"), and hollywierd gossip but don't have the time to read a single bill that is being discussed or shoved through Congress?  Which do they believe will have a more detrimental effect on their lives?

Americans care about the British Royal Family for the same reason that Americans care about the Kardashians.

But, I haven't been able to figure out what that reason is either.

They shouldn't and therefore should really keep their opinions to themselves... of course having the whiney American Markle running off her mouth doesn't help!

Better question is why do the British,, the Royal Family is nothing more than expensive window dressing,, do they even still have any relevance.

No reason. Our news media is obsessed with them, though. It's weird because it doesn't give two figs about the Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Spanish, Japanese, etc. royal families.  Maybe it's because the British RH's speak English.

Because they want their king back again ?

We shouldn't it's just the left going more into cancel culture.
