What percentage of Christians don't allow their faith to be honestly evaluated by themselves or others.?

Maybe they are too scared of imaginary hell and see questions as a threat to their imaginary heaven ticket or is it that their faith is gossamer on evidence so they run from honest evaluation incase it gets damaged...

Or something else or a combo of fears.Take a guess pleaseMy guess is 100% don't allow their faith to be honestly evaluated. Thanks

    100% is correct.

Because if they honestly evaluated their own faith they wouldn't be Christian anymore.

It sounds flippant, but when your entire worldview is predicated on the concept of the world being entirely dedicated to the task of sorting people into 'those who go to heaven' and 'those who go to hell', then it is next to impossible to be truly objective.

By what truth standard is the Christian faith to be evaluated?  The standard is certainly not you or any other human being.

(Matthew 7:13, 14) “13 “Go in through the narrow gate, because broad is the gate and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are going in through it; 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are finding it.”

According to Jesus, the vast majority are not living their faith.

As to 100%, this is wrong, since Jesus said few would find it.

Self evaluation can only be done by self and that is a lonely observation. In Counsel there is wisdom with counselors but when is only one easy to jump to wrong conclusions. If those counselors have no respect for all that was is and will be then they are only fools.  Sad because some who claim this position do not have experience, clout or even training and are just like children playing with matches.  If you kids start a fire or call the fire department on a false alarm there is a charge in society.  Same is true for God. Do not bother God with foolish things.  Little children should say their prayers out loud to their parents only so those who put in charge of them know what area their hearts need to be directed so they can learn to do better.  That is a precious position that God gave to parents.

Honestly, I believe that challenging my own faith makes it stronger.  It's just like lifting weights - if you don't challenge yourself, you're not going to get stronger.

The book of James accomplishes any meaningful "evaluation".  You should try it yourself.

I do allow my faith to be honestly evaluated & I myself evaluate. I have an extensive background in science {I’m an RN with my BSN}. Any good scientist knows you try to prove something by first trying to disprove it.. you can not in fact disprove God. Atheists have just as good of an argument as any other religion. They can not prove why they feel the way they do with factual evidence. Any atheist who would debate me, I would ask where is your factual evidence that A God does not exist?

The problem I find with the theory of evolution is it does not describe where life came from. It breaks it down to a single cell.. but it still does not clarify where the life of that single cell came from.
