How do I get a court order ?

My roommate, Sam, and I were evicted from my condo ( long story ) . My trustees want to list it for sale . My trustees pulled a few illegal manuevers, and I have a court document that says this condo is for my use during my lifetime, not until further notice . I want to get a court order preventing them from selling my condo . NOW -- how do I get a court order ? Do I really need a lawyer ? I'd rather not represent myself, but every lawyer i talk to has an excuse to hand the problem to somebody else . Thank you in advance for your answers

Based upon your previous questions you misspoke that you were evicted, in reality you left by your own choice (albeit at the urgency of your trustee's).  Basically it sounds like your trustee's are bullying you which may be good cause to have them removed as named trustee's if you can prove they are not acting in your best interest.  I highly recommend hiring a lawyer to do so.

It also sounds like you have a document that grant's you a life estate at the condo.  And exactly as you stated, it gives you the right to use the condo during your lifetime, but once you move out voluntarily, that right disappears enabling the trustee's to sell anytime they like.  In other words the only way your trustee's could sell your property is if they got you to move first.  If the property hasn't been sold, all you have to do is move back in and tell them to stick it.

If you really have "trustees" and prior related legal documents, yes, you really need a lawyer.
