Yes, that guy is talking buIIshit. Their blades are recycled, not put in landfills. First, the blades aren't what wear out, so they're generally recycled as is, repurposed to a new wind turbine. Second, the blades are made entirely out of recyclable materials and are such a high concentration of recyclable materials that blades that get damaged get fully recycled, not shipped off to a landfill. 

Most important, wind turbines generate 1.5 megawatts of electricity a day. It takes 1,550 pounds of coal to produce 1.5 megawatts of electricity. In a wind turbines average 20-year lifespan, the electricity it produces burning zero coal the equivalent to 11,315,000 pounds of coal burned. So, yes, that's very green, because 11,315,000 pounds of coal in pollution and cost is nothing next to the 0 pounds of coal costing $0 for a wind turbine to produce that energy. That's why Big Oil is against it, they being the world's supplier of coal as well, and Republicans, being owned by Big Oil and its lobby, and Trump also, being heavily invested in Big Oil, protect their own interests and spoon-feed you Big Oil's buIIshit even though it's against yours and everyone's interests, and you being the ignorant lemming that you are, you gobble that buIIshit up and have made yourself the shill of Big Oil, working against your own self-interest, working against cheaper, cleaner energy.

By the way, before you jump on to the typical spoon-fed buIIshit you've been fed about how much fossil fuel is required to build a wind turbine, I'll head that buIIshit off at the pass by letting you know that, one, the amount of fossil fuel required to build a fossil powerplant is greater than that required to produce the wind turbines that produce the same amount of energy; two, the fossil fuel required to build a wind turbine is 0.00001% of the fossil fuel it will save from being burned at a fossil fuel powerplant; and, three, the amount of fossil fuel required to make a wind turbine is constantly becoming less and less as more and more green energy is generated and used, because the fossil fuel is used in making wind turbines is expended in creating the energy required to build them, Big Oil pointing that finger at wind turbine production when it's a problem they themselves create by constantly blocking green energy, maintaining their iron grip on being the primary energy supplier, and thus making it so that manufacturers of wind turbines must rely predominantly on their fossil fuel power to power their manufacturing of wind turbines, because if the proliferation of green energy production weren't systematically impeded by Big Oil with its army of lobbyists, bought politicians, and brainwashed mass of conservative shills working against their own and everyone's interest for Big Oil, those wind turbines could be produced using no fossil fuels.
