    Of course they can, I have an intolerance to lactose which you find in Diary products, so use Soya or Nut milks in hot drinks, cereal and roux ie white sauces used to make Mac and Cheese or Lasagne.  And some times I buy either veggie or vegan 'sausages' and have them with some 100% Pork ones, just for the taste difference and the fact that processed meat isn't particularly good for you, but then neither is processed veggie or vegan food either.

    Vegan stuff is also called FOOD.

    Vegans and non-vegans eat food.

    Even ''meat eaters'' eat ''vegan stuff'' .. and every day probably.

    The PEAS and POTATOES that you have with your STEAK are vegan .. depending on how you've cooked them, of course.
