Does the term thats racism bother you or does it makes no impact anymore?

Is used in every issue as a talking point  from the left. It actually appears to be driving people in the opposite direction in my opinion.

Update:

At oracle: That’s what I’m saying division and I believe that will only make the problem worse, most people understand that there is-some racism from all sides.

It has been overused to the point that it means nothing, but it is still a slur against one's own beliefs.  It seems to be an attempt to divide us as Americans.

I continue to witness acts of racism and hear it within everyday conversation.

Tell me why should I bite my tongue when people put others down because of

appearance, national/ethnic origin, sexual preference, religion, linguistics etc?

If someone makes a racist statement and they are not called out, then they never register what they did was wrong, and so they will continue to make racist statements.  That is how things like racism are perpetuated.  It is easy, if you don't like being called a racist, stop being a racist.

It lost much of its meaning years ago...hence the need to add the element of violence last year... Note being a "racist" doesn't just make you bigoted anymore in the popular narrative, you are now a threat to public safety and likely "gun nut"...

Funny how these same standards don't apply to people who shove old Asian men off train platforms though..... isn't it?

Whether or not the term is overused is not the issue.

The good news is there's no longer a need to convince anyone that racism exists. Finally people can live their whole life and go to their grave thinking there is no racism- because the problem is being addressed anyway.

"Racism" is the new word for "prejudice."  It means the same.

The term doesn’t bother me. Idiots who are racist do. Just think, if people weren’t racist, we wouldn’t have to hear about it because it wouldn’t be a problem.

Yes, many today are hyper-sensitive about racism, sexism, etc.  Doesn't mean that those things aren't still issues, however.

I just ignore it, and continue with my point(s)........That really pisses democrats off.
