I have a slow roku tv if i use a roku stick will it be faster ?
Example be watching Netflix tell it to goto youtube it is slow loading from one app to another. Before anyone says buy a better tv I do not have that kind of money plus children around so even if that was an option I don't want it to get damaged.
@Stacie. I had 43 inch hisense roku tv which worked fine. My 6 year old God daughter opened an umbrella destroying the screen. I had to buy this onn because when the first $1200 stimulus checks cane out. The only tv brand locally available the time I doubt it is the internet service or speed.

That may be a good option, if in fact it is the TV that is not performing...but from the sound of it... it may be the internet connection.
My advice is I would test the internet connection with a computer at the connection point to truly verify what speeds are getting there (regardless of the device)
I would check your internet speed before buying anything. If your current Ruku TV is plugged into a LAN line (Ethernet) remove the Ethernet and plug it into a laptop.
Go to google and in the google search type "speed test" and click the speed test that google shows.
800mbps+ (like fios or any other 1gb glass line) you should have no issues at all and very easily run multiple streams even at 4k.
300+ (like comcast or similar) you should still have no issue and again be able to run multiple streams to devices.
100mb+ You should still be good to run up to 4k but multiple devices doing this may slow the connection.
50+you should be able to run that 1tv no issue and may be able to get 4k speeds
25+ you should be able to use that tv to stream but probably not higher then 1080p
15+ you may start getting choppy video even on 1080p.
10mbps or less, well you may or may not be able to even stream 1080p at all even if its just that one TV device.
If you are on wireless, connect to the wireless and see the speeds, the speeds above are still the same, you want to have 50+ for 4k and 25+ for standard 1080p
If your speeds are 10mgps or less... then this is probably not a Roku or TV issue... this is an internet issue and will not be solved by switching to any smart stick.
If your speeds are for instance 300mgps download, and its still slow connecting... then yes I would try a new roku stick.
