Why do people whine about rape so much? ?

People recover from rape after a while to the point they can live a normal life. Not the same as it was before, but still a life they can enjoy.

A blind person cannot do that, and neither can a dead person. Yet cases of murder and people being binded by assault are forgotten about.

i was raped as a child, and it didn't affect me at all. in fact, my family was more upset about it than i was.

i think it has a lot to do with your mindset. often, we are affected by how OTHERS in our lives react to something.

i had friends back then, around 9 years old, who used to WISH some woman would "rape" them...

    Oh, you've got issues.

I know rape survivors.  It affects them their whole lives, especially when the rapist is a family member.

It is a penis entering a vagina.

Unless you had it happen there's no reason to speak.

OK. Do you have a car? Would you just shrug your shoulders if someone stole it before trashing it and setting it alight - while you still had to pay it off? Or would you moan and bit*h about it for years? Rape is a personal, vile (and sometimes VIOLENT) attack on someone who is FORCED to participate. I was mugged decades ago, yet, there are still times I freeze and have a panic attack if someone comes up (quietly) behind me. After the mugging - where, in the struggle to keep my handbag, we both fell over and he ended up lying on top of me, I wanted to throw up and scrub myself with a thick brush. I felt so dirty. And that was a mugging! I admire the courage these women have to continue with their lives after such a vile experience. They don't 'enjoy' life - that rape leaves a black, black cloud over their soul. Would you say the same to a soldier who has PTSD? Heck, they're no longer at war - why carry on about it? Because what they experienced DURING the war has also left a black, black mark on their souls. A 'dead person' enjoy life? That's just stupid - what kind of happy life did they have before they died? We're ALL going to die - you want to start grieving for ME NOW even tho no one knows the time it will come?

You are an idiot. Have YOU ever been raped? I didn't think so. STFU until you have suffered this violence.

Say that to my face. My rape was brutal. Some of the physical damage is permanent, including partial loss of vision, teeth knocked out and broken, and the never-forgotten 127 stitches and the scar tissue.

That's horrible, but the psychological damage seems to be worse. Yes, I get counseling. I don't think I'll ever have sex again.

Still better than being dead or blind. Rear orifice

You haven't met many rape-victims, have you? Or maybe they are smart enough to avoid rear-orifices like you.

Yes, some "recover", but others get addicted, become prostitutes, require psychiatric care, or kill themselves. Some have serious trouble getting into a healthy relationship.
