Too much money, with questionable distribution.

The $17 they actually spend on roads and bridges is ok with me.

I question the rest of it.

For the life of me, I don't understand why Republicans don't do a better job showing what exactly in the bill.   If its a pork package, get the word out on tv, print, etc of exactly where every cent is going?

Probably 1.9 trillion goes to Nancy Pelosi and her pork projects.  Maybe there will be enough left to pave one or two roads.

In order to comprehend the New Deal type of economic stimulus, which is what this Biden/Harris infrastructure plan really is, you have to be able to view long-term intercorrelated effects.  You also have to remind yourself that there is a plan in place to pay for the jobs-creating plan: Raise the taxes on multi-billionaires and the nation's richest corporations to a modest 28% in order to generate a little thing called "revenue."  Bill Clinton was able to actually balance the  U.S. budget, then go on to build up a huge $362 billion budget surplus during his two-term Presidency (see "The Clinton Presidency: Key Accomplishments" online) by raising taxes on the richest 1.5% to 39%---and everyone prospered.

Our bridges and viaducts are crumbling; the highways nationwide need repairs; the blighted urban areas left over from the Bush/Cheney housing and credit markets' collapse; new school buildings to replace poorly ventilated old ones; and all the other carefully thought-out provisions included in this proposal will provide hundreds of thousands of decent-paying jobs which, in turn, generates even more tax revenues at local, state, and federal levels while also promoting consumer spending.  This renewed spending means business owners order more stock, thus aiding our shipping industry and manufacturing...and so on in an upward and outward ever-growing growth spiral.

This is a good deal for Americans and for the nation.

Good to see an actual long term infrastructure plan being put in place.

For to long politicians have been more concerned about next election time and not enough about long term goals.
