Why did Verizon let this site go if they would have left it alone but still made reasonable changes then we would not be going through this?

This category and some of the others do fine...
But categories like R&S  is a cesspool......It use to be a decent site years ago ...not now.

About a month ago I skimmed through 20 hours of questions on R&S and evaluated their relevance. Out of 134 questions 4 of them may have been legit and 7 had a very slim possibility of being legit....the rest were absolute trash or irrelevant.

I also figure that there is no fiscal value to this site for Verizon.

Why did Verizon let this site go if they would have left it alone but still made reasonable changes then we would not be going through this?
